Cyren Collects Two Cybersecurity Breakthrough Awards for Web and Email Security

At this year’s Cybersecurity Breakthrough Awards, Cyren was honored with two awards in the email and web security categories – The only company in this year’s program to collect two awards.

The Cybersecurity Breakthrough Awards program was developed to recognize and reward companies that lead the field in IT security and have shown a high level of innovation and have brought exciting, powerful, and reliable cybersecurity products to the market. This year saw more than 2,000 companies and products nominated for the awards with cybersecurity companies from 12 countries competing.

Nominees in categories such as email security, web security, threat detection, risk management, APT protection, identity management, mobile security, and risk management were assessed by a panel of independent judges drawn from the information security industry.  Nominees were narrowed down to produce a shortlist of finalists and category winners.

Cyren, a provider of web, email, and DNS security solutions, was honored with Hosted Email Security Solution of the Year Award in the email security category. Other winners in the category were Trend Micro (Enterprise Antivirus Solution of the Year), RiskIQ (Overall Web Security Solution Provider of the Year) and Avast (Consumer Antivirus Software of the Year.
