Rave Mobile Safety Healthcare Communication Solutions

Rave Mobile Safety Healthcare Communication Solutions

Rave Mobile Safety is a GSA-approved provider of mass notification systems, personal safety apps, and emergency preparedness solutions that have been SAFETY Act certified by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and which are used by healthcare organizations throughout the country.

As the company behind the Smart911 app and online safety profile service – which currently protects more than 45 million people nationwide – Rave Mobile Safety is  aware of the importance of getting the right message to the right people at the right time in critical situations.

The company has developed a range of healthcare communication solutions under the heading Rave 911 Suite. The solutions can be used independently of each other, combined into a single customized solution according to each organization´s requirements, or integrated with existing healthcare security and safety solutions in order to enhance their effectiveness.

Healthcare Communication Solutions in the Rave 911 Suite

The Rave 911 Suite consists of multiple communications solutions. Those most relevant to the healthcare industry include:

Rave Alert

Rave Alert is a mass notification system with capabilities that make it an ideal solution for healthcare organizations. The system uses multiple communication channels to ensure the broadest possible reach in emergency and non-emergency situations, while also giving organizations the opportunity to target specific personnel or locations with unlimited database segmentation and geo-targeting features.

Rave Alert is compatible with the Common Alerting Protocol (CAP), the IPAWS-Open system, and WEB-EOC emergency management system, and can be integrated with digital signage, public address, and CCTV systems. It also allow third parties to opt into the system via SMS keywords and short codes so temporary workers, contractors, visitors, and patients can be alerted to mass notification messages.

Rave Facility

When an emergency occurs, it is important first responders arrive at the scene as quickly as possible, are as well prepared as possible, and have access to information that may be critical to the success of their response. Rave Facility enables a fast and well-prepared response by giving healthcare organizations the opportunity to upload data that can be easily shared between responders during an emergency.

The data can include access routes to specific areas of the campus, floor plans, evacuation routes, door and gate codes, utility shut-off points, AED locations, and much more. As Rave Facility also supports two-way communication, the platform can be used for collaboration between first responders and onsite security teams, raising situational awareness, and better protecting first responders from danger.

Rave Panic Button

The Rave Panic Button is a mobile app that healthcare personnel can use to summon assistance with two clicks of a smartphone screen. The app gives users the option of selecting a specific 9-1-1 event or alerting internal security to an emergency or other event that may escalate into an emergency. The app provides 9-1-1 and internal security with the exact location of the user in order to accelerate a response.

Panic button apps are more accessible than wall-mounted devices and more reliable than Bluetooth solutions; and, due to the Rave Panic Button´s robust reporting dashboard, healthcare organizations can use the system to better manage emergency events and identify hotspots of workplace violence in healthcare in order to allocate resources to where they are most needed.
