TigerConnect Named One of Best Places to Work in Healthcare for the Fifth Consecutive Year

Modern Healthcare has named TigerConnect one of the Best Places to Work in Healthcare in 2019. TigerConnect achieved a top 50 ranking in this year’s list of suppliers to the healthcare industry.  This is the fifth consecutive year that the company has been included in Modern Healthcare’s Best Places to Work list.

TigerConnect is the most widely adopted collaborative communications platform for the healthcare industry. The platform is used by more than 6,000 healthcare organizations and handles more than 10 million messages every day. The platform is used by physicians, nurses, care teams, and patients to securely communicate and is the only communications platform that supports voice, video, text communications, and clinical workflow requirements, along with bulletproof privacy and security controls.

TigerConnect CEO and co-founder Brad Brooks attributes the consistent recognition to the company culture developed over the past 9 years. He explained that the company strives to create an environment where employees can not only make a positive impact on how healthcare organizations communicate, but also ensures those individuals can thrive, progress, and enjoy their work. “We believe in fostering a culture where employees can do their best work and feel a sense of purpose knowing they’re making the lives of physicians, nurses, and patients better through our technology,” said Brooks.

TigerConnect goes the extra mile to make sure employees enjoy coming into work each day. In addition to a generous reward structure, employees get to hear about the successes that the company’s customers are enjoying after implementing TigerConnect. Twice a year, the company holds ‘all-hands’ meetings where clients explain the difference that TigerConnect has made. Employees are also given the opportunity to participate in volunteer events to give back in meaningful ways.

The company has set up weekly Yoga classes, Wednesday food trucks, monthly movie nights, and ensures there is a fully stocked kitchen, along with many other perks and benefits. Feedback from employees backs up the top 50 ranking.

“With unemployment rates at record lows, organizations face stiff competition to attract and retain top talent,” said Aurora Aguilar, editor of Modern Healthcare. “The providers and companies making this year’s Best Places to Work in Healthcare list understand the importance of creating an environment where employees can not only excel in their own development but contribute to the mission of improving care delivery.”
