TitanHQ Receives Red Herring Top 100 Europe Award

TitanHQ has picked up a ‘Top 100’ Award at this year’s Red Herring Europe Awards – one of the most prestigious awards for technology companies.

The Red Herring Awards are an annual event where private technology ventures are honored for their innovation, potential, track record and financial performance. Each nominated company is comprehensively assessed on 20 criteria, including market footprint, quality of management, proof of concept, innovation and execution of strategy.

While many awards recognize the potential of a company, the Red Herring panel of judges looks more deeply at a company, giving an unparalleled insight into the best technology vendors, not just their products by the ability to develop them into industry-leading offerings.

The detailed reviews of each company mean the Top 100 Award winners list gives a clear view of the most innovative companies with the greatest potential, providing invaluable information on the hottest prospects for venture investors.

This in depth look at the best of the best in the field of technology resulted in the potential of some of the world’s best-known brands being recognized before they became the industry leaders they are today. Red Herring was among the first to recognize the potential of the likes of YouTube, Alibaba, Google, Spotify and Twitter, for example.

To be selected for the Red Herring 100 list is a major achievement, considering the strength of the competition. Alex Vieux, publisher and CEO of Red Herring, said “Each year, the competition gets tougher.”

TitanHQ was selected based on its “vision, drive and innovation,” said Vieux, all of which define a Red Herring Top 100 company.

Accepting the award, Ronan Kavanagh, CEO of TitanHQ, said, “This recognition from Red Herring combined with our recent awards is a wonderful acknowledgment of how our security solutions are resonating with businesses today.” Kavanagh explained that the award serves as recognition for the continued investment it its web and email security solutions over the past five years. That high level of investment “is making the difference not just for our business, but for our customers’ businesses too,” said Kavanagh.
