TrueVault Safe Made Available Free of Charge for Nonprofit COVID-19 Projects

TrueVault has announced its HIPAA-compliant TrueVault Safe service is being offered free of charge for nonprofit COVID-19 projects and to any non-profit healthcare organization.

TrueVault Safe is a database solution developed specifically to meet the needs of healthcare organizations to provide safe and secure storage for healthcare data. The solution meets the strict standards for data security demanded by HIPAA, including physical security and technical safeguards such as access and audit controls, authentication, and transmission security.

Starting on March 20, 2020, TrueVault Safe has been made available to healthcare organizations free of charge for their nonprofit COVID-19 projects, which includes free use for the duration of the project. TrueVault has teamed up with Apsis Labs to provide this free service. Apsis Labs is a Seattle-based development agency that specializes in healthcare applications. The company has similarly made a commitment to help healthcare organizations battling the COVID-19 pandemic and will be providing free technical guidance and priority support to help them onboard new COVID-19 projects and get them up and running quickly.

TrueVault is also providing a free HIPAA and security review to ensure that new COVID-19 applications are fully compliant with HIPAA requirements.
